As a licensed chiropractic physician and a member of good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, Dr. Katherine Whang graduated in 2001 from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (now known as Southern California University of Health Sciences) after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at California State University, Fullerton. Since graduation, Dr. Whang has worked in California, Connecticut, and Toronto while furthering her studies in pediatric, pre- and post-natal chiropractic, spinal disc conditions, and McKenzie Protocol. She is certified in acupuncture through the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture and is a member of the Acupuncture Council of Ontario.

Understanding that pain is multifaceted and can often require collaborative care, she works closely with the registered massage therapists, physiotherapist, chiropodist, and the naturopath here at Nouveau Wellness. Dedicated to helping patients achieve independence within their own healthcare, Dr. Katherine Whang believes in conservative spinal care by utilizing non-invasive techniques such as – spinal manipulative therapy, McKenzie protocol, rehabilitative exercises, trigger point therapy, and acupuncture, which are all designed to reduce pain and restore function. To that end, she has helped develop treatment programs based upon the individual’s needs, emphasizing the importance of self-care and therapeutic exercises for overall well-being.
